WebI wouldn't ever call the movie "plausible", the pseudo-science is obviously first rate bullshit. However, it's a well put together found footage movie, the environmental message behind the movie is still interesting, and I think it preys on the human disgust response of disease like few other movies do. WebOne of the best, most effective "found footage" movies out there, Barry Levinson's The Bay is somewhat terrifying especially after the events of 2024. A young news reporter (Kether Donahue) becomes involved in a horrifying ecological disaster while covering the fourth of July festivities at a small Chesapeake bay town.
