The AD1 top pockets have a flap to protect things from falling out and there is both a zippered pocket on one thigh and a fold over pocket on the other. The belt is slightly different, too. Darien vents fine, open the the wrists up, zip down the neck a tad and open the under-arm and back. Boom, bubble jacket, better than my Kilm Overlander (with 35 vents).
