Val Thorens

     Sitting pretty at the head of the Belleville Valley is Val Thorens, at 2300 metres the highest ski resort in both the Three Valleys and Europe. On its own, the Belleville valley has 8 peaks above 3000m, 71 ski lifts, 10,000 skiable hectares comprising 330km of pistes, over half of that in the entire Three Valleys. It is a simply vast ski area with something for all levels, particularly when you also take into account the slopes of the Maurienne valley, the mysterious "Fourth Valley".

    There has been huge investment in the resort over the last 10 years with another 40 million Euros scheduled to be invested before 2010 meaning exemplary lift infrastructure and state-of-the-art snowmaking facilities which enhance the excellent natural snow cover. The only problem comes in poor conditions; there are no trees anywhere to offer any relief from flat light.

Val Thorens offers all facilities for fitness training with indoor pool, whirl-pool, and gymnasium available for your use. Animation programe and numerous events. Many discos, bars, cafe's and a cinema are also handy. Showshoe walking and snowmobile trips may be arranged for non-skiers. Compulsory car/park (open and covered) 100 m before the village (extra - approx Euro50.00 per car per week). Private cars are only allowed to the apartments to load luggage. Bus service throughout the village.

     In the centre of Val Thorens, with ski in/ski out convenience. Rated 2 star with numerous 1 and 2 bedroom units.

     Has a lift & ski storage. Ski lift, shops, shopping centre and restaurants just 50 m away.

Apartment Chalet Val 2400

      Ski in/ski out and rated 3 star. Has 2 bedrooms, sleeps up to six, and is 950 sq. ft in area!

Residence Beau Soleil 4****

      A superb apartment complex at the southern end of Val Thorens , just 100m from the ski runs, 150m from the lift station, and 200m from restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. Has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 7 persons.

Hotel Three Valley's 3*** 

     Central, of a high standard, and very comfortable.
    Hôtel des Trois Vallées is in an ideal location at the heart of the resort, 50m to the shops and 200m to the ski slopes. Y ou will feel at home in this beautiful, cosy and inviting hotel. The bedrooms offer a real mountain atmosphere. The restaurant serves a hearty, tasty and varied cuisine. For a nice after-ski you can have pastries and cocktails in the bar and relax by the fireplace.

    Under its chalet roof, you will find in the Le Sherpa hotel the atmosphere of an attractive privately-run house with a view overlooking Val Thorens village with the 3 Vallées' high summits in the background. The hotel does everything possible to please you by sharing with you the gentleness of the evenings by the fireside, the gourmet menu's refined flavours or the intense moments of relaxation in the sauna, hammam and whirlpool bath.
