Presentation of the country

Borovets and Bansko are the two largest and most modern ski areas of Bulgaria. They have invested a massive amount of money over the past few years, resulting in totally new hotels, lift infrastructure and ski villages.

Flights are into the capital city of Sofia, from where it is a 70km drive to Borovets and a 160km drive to Bansko. Private transfers or a rental car are available to each destination.
