Ziller Valley

    Right in the heart of the beautiful Tyrol lies a mountain valley, where snow is assured, with a gigantic skiing arena which extends into the Hintertux Glacier area - this is Zillertal. There are hundreds of miles of prepared ski slopes for beginners to expert skiers. Here everyone can find exactly the challenge they are looking for.

    Unusual kinds of winter sports are available-sometimes right in front of your door! Take off into the air with paragliders or stay on the ground with your snow-board.

    Whether you prefer a charming mountain chalet or a rendezvous in the hotel bar, the sounds of a disco or an original Tyrolean Folklore Evening, the range of entertainment offerings for young and old in this "liveliest valley in the world" cannot be surpassed!

    Mayrhofen is the largest town in the valley and has managed to retain the ambiance and architectural integrity of a traditional Tyrolean village. The skiing takes place on two separate mountains (Penken and Ahorn), the larger of which is reached by the impressive Penken cable car. The local ski area is extensive, but the Super Zillertal pass increases the maximum to 478 km and 149 lifts.

    The Super Zillertal pass includes the other Ziller Valley villages of: Hippach, Zell am Ziller, Fugen, Kaltenbach, Hintertux, and Gerlos. A free ski bus links all together on a very regular basis but a rental car would be handy here.

     Friendly run, rustic apartment house, 150 m from the centre of town in a quiet side street. In house reception, lounge, sun terrace, ski storage, central heating, parking by the house. Grocers, restaurant, ski bus stop, all 150 m away. Ski lift 800 m, cross-country ski trail 10 m.

     2-room apartment with a living/sleeping room with 1 double sofa bed, dining corner and satellite-TV. 1 double bedroom, Kitchenette (2 hotplates). Shower/WC, and balcony. Sleeps from 2 to 4 persons.

Chalet Mayrhofen 3*** (Ziller Valley - Condos)

     Cosy apartment house, 1.5 km from the centre of town. In house central heating. Grocers, restaurant 1.5 km, ski bus stop 10 m. Swimming pool, indoor swimming pool, tennis, cable car, chair lift, and ski school all 3 km, cross-country ski trail 200 m, ice rink 3 km.

   Three separate apartments, each accommodating up to 6 persons. Each has an entrance hall, 1 double bedroom, 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds, a kitchen-/living room (4 hotplates, oven) with dining table, 1 double sofa bed and satellite-TV. Shower, sep. WC. Very nice panoramic view of the mountains and the countryside. The double bedroom is a through room.

   Attractive newly built chalet-apartments located on one of the best spots in Gerlos, containing very comfortable and high quality apartments of different sizes and lay-outs spread over three floors, accommodating from 4 to 16 persons.

   In a quiet location in the middle of the village, right on the ski slopes so you may ski to the door! 800m from the brand-new Isskogel cable car station, and 75m from the atmospheric hotel Gaspingerhof (one of the après-ski hotspots in Gerlos).
