Day to Day Itinerary
Embarkation at Trogir – Šolta or Brac
Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 5 km/3 mi. away from the harbor of Trogir. After check in on the motor yacht (from 14 pm) the first short cruise starts around 16 pm from Trogir to the Island of Šolta. On the way we have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim from the boat. The first night is spent in a quiet bay at Šolta or at the Island of Brac.
Island of Hvar
From Jelsa on the north side of the island Hvar we take a cycle tour to Stari Grad and its old town which has become a Mecca for artists and art lovers. Afterwards we cycle or take the boat to reach Hvar town. In Hvar town we take a city tour across the large Renaissance Square which is surrounded by the cathedral and many late gothic palaces. There we hike to the Spanish fortress that towers above the town. From here we have a fabulous view of the city and the surrounding islands.
Islands Biševo and Vis
In the morning we cruise from Hvar to the small island of Biševo. Here we can have a swim break close to the famous Blue Grotto, which you can explore with a small boat or by swimming. On sunny days and calm seas the sunlight submerges through the cave opening into the sea and the interior of the cave is turned into a stunning blue colour. After lunch you sail to the neighbouring island of Vis where we take a short walk together. The island was originally colonized by the Greeks and is the most remote inhabited island from the Dalmatian mainland.
Early in the morning a crossing to Racisce on the island of Korcula; including a swim break. An afternoon bike ride takes us eventually to the island capital. We take a little tour through the town to see the highlights: St Mark’s Cathedral where we can admire the famous altarpiece by Jacopo Tintoretto. The alleged birthplace of explorer Marco Polo is worth a visit as well. There is also a magnificent view from the tower of the house over the sea. The evening is spent in the bustling port town.
Island Hvar and Brac
After breakfast we take the boat to Sucuraj on the island of Hvar, there is enough time to take a leisurely swim stop. Then we cross over to Povlja on the island of Brac. A hike leads us to Pucisca, where a stone mason school forms stunning sculptures of the famous white marble.
Cetina Canyon and Split
After a short crossing to Omiš with its pirate castles we have the opportunity to participate either in a rafting tour on the Cetina River (not included in the tour price) or to take a small cycle tour of 12 km/ 8 mi. along the Canyon. After lunch we continue our cruise to Split. Here we go for a walk in the afternoon and explore the fantastic old town of Split which is so rich in history. Sights in Split are: the famous palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, which is an integral part of the town and a World Heritage Site.
After dinner we can join another walk onto the Marjan Hill – the recreation area of the inhabitant of Split from where there is a beautiful view over the town. Overnight stay in Split.
Split – Island of Ciovo – Trogir
In the morning our boat takes us to the small island of ?iovo where we have the last opportunity to take swim. In the afternoon we arrive at Trogir. Enjoy Trogir by taking a walk through the UNESCO protected old town. Traditionally the last evening before disembarkation is spent cheerfully with guests, crew and guides.
After breakfast disembarkation until 9 am and individual trip home or extended stay in Croatia.
