Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Afternoon: Arrival at Pisa airport (any other airport may be arranged), meet & greet, transfer to a beautiful Natural SPA Resort, accommodation in double room with breakfast.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant.

 

Day 2

Morning: Golfers: Golf round at Montecatini golf club. The outline of the course measures around 6000 meters (around 6405 yards) and follows the natural contours of the land, creating a difficult and challenging course, quite undulating, with natural obstacles and hazards which are sure to put any golfer’s skills to the test for at least five of the eighteen holes.

Non-golfer: Relax at the wellness center of the SPA resort

Afternoon: Golfer & Non-golfer: Visit a famous chocolate shop and titillate your tasting buds, choosing among chocolate and coffee specialities presented in different ways.

Retour to Hotel for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 3

Morning: Golfer: Golf round at Cosmopolitan Golf Course, elected in 1993 as the best new golf course in Italy, is where the most talented golfers will surely find an occasion to bring out their best shots. Water often comes into play given the presence of two lakes, the alternation of long and short shots on the green make the game extremely interesting while large bunkers give the course a technical design, the only one of its kind in Tuscany.

Non-golfer: Self-visit the city of Viareggio. The splendid seafront promenade measuring more than 3 Km, with all its shops and Liberty-style buildings, the famous Bagno Balena, Caffé Margherita (where Giacomo Puccini loved to sit) and the many boutiques along the sea. However, above all, Viareggio means Carnival.

Afternoon: Golfer & Non-golfer Enjoy the Carnival Parade of Viareggio (subject to weather conditions and to be reconfirmed at the last moment). For four weeks the city becomes a mass of colours, masks and music abandoning therefore its traditional aspect substituting it with a more playful and joking appearance.

Dinner at leisure.

Retour at the hotel for overnight.

Day 4

Morning: Golfer & Non-golfer: Relax at the wellness center of the SPA resort

Afternoon: Golfer & Non-golfer: Transfer to Pistoia, visit one of the prettiest medieval square of Europe with the Cathedral and the town hall and the historical underground going back to the roman origins of the city to modern days in a unique pathway to history and architecture which is been hidden for long time.

Dinner in a gourmet restaurant in Pistoia.

Retour to hotel for overnight.

Day 5

Morning: Check-out from SPA Resort and transfer to Florence city centre charming Hotel

Afternoon: Golfer & Non-golfer: A walking Tour of Florence that represents a trip through two thousand years of history. Our guide will know how to lead you through the medieval narrow lanes of the city, telling you amusing anecdotes of the famous people who enlivened life at that time.

Dinner at leisure in Florence.

Retour to Hotel for overnight.

Day 6

Morning: Golfer: Transfer to Ugolino Golf Club. Golf round in the oldest golf club in Italy; today it is set in one of the most spectacular golf courses. Deeply set in the Tuscan countryside, amongst olive trees, cypresses and rose bushes. It is a demanding course due to the uneven ground, obstacles and the small and well protected greens.

Non-golfer: visit the country town of Greve in Chianti, its very nice medieval square, shops and the ancient castle of Montefiorale.

Afternoon: Golfer & Non-golfer: Visit the Chianti region where one of the best wines of the world is made and discover the heart of this beautiful region. The Tuscans love and passion for their land and vineyards, the only source of inspiration of one of the best wines in the world. The small medieval villages with stone-built houses, red shutters, geraniums in the window boxes together with the sunflowers in the kitchen garden. Visit of an historical winery and the cellars, at the end wine tastings and light dinner.

Retour to hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 7

Morning: Golfer & Non-golfer: Day at leisure in Florence to walk around the small streets and shop in the traditional old boutiques.

Option: A day with a personal shopper in town.

Check-out, transfer to the airports of Pisa/Florence and departure (other airports may be arranged).
